The Glass Gateways Chapter Boost Initiative

Grants, Fundraising Support & PM Mentoring

Some DECA chapters have strong students and motivated advisors, but far fewer local resources than their competitors. As a student-led organization, Go For Glass has been supporting our community for almost two years with free study resources. Now, we want to take it a step further.

With this new grant, Go For Glass will provide seed funding for student-led fundraising projects, along with Project Management mentoring to help participating students turn the project into both a strong fundraiser and a competitive DECA experience.

We are prioritizing states based on CTE funding, historical DECA success, and where we believe Go For Glass can make the greatest impact.

Grants will be funded at $500 or more, with up to $8,000 total funding across selected chapters.

Team members on selected projects will have access to free small-group mentoring, paper reviews, and 1:1 sessions as availability allows.

Note: We are not accepting applications from: Washington or any international associations.

πŸ“†Applications Closed β€” Limited funding Still Available.

The October 6 application deadline has passed. However, a limited amount of funding remains available for chapters demonstrating significant financial need and presenting compelling, sustainable fundraising ideas.

Exceptional proposals may still be considered on a case-by-case basis while funds remain. Priority will be given to chapters where a grant could make a meaningful difference in their ability to build a successful fundraising program.

Before You Apply:

Please make sure your school and project meet these basic requirements:

Your school serves a high-need student population:

At least 50% of students must be classified economically disadvantaged or eligible for free/reduced price meals.

Your school can accept and manage the funding:

The donation needs to be made to the school, while allowing you to be reimbursed for fundraiser supplies. Some schools may not want the additional paperwork for smaller donations. That means, at a minimum, an advisor will need to sign off. It is highly encouraged for students to CC their advisor on their application.

You have a strong fundraising idea:

There needs to be a clear product, service, event, or other concept and a reasonable plan for turning the seed money into a substantially larger amount for use by the chapter.

For schools with 65%+ economically disadvantaged students, the fundraising idea does not need to be as fully developed at the time of application.

How To Apply:
